Team

The Equities Division is an integral part of Metropol's operations. Its wide range of services complements other activities of IFC Metropol. The team is co-ordinated by T. Hawk Sunshine, Head of Equities. Prior to joining IFC Metropol, he was the Head of International Sales at IFK Metropol and Sovlink.

The twelve-strong Moscow-based team boasts professionals of excellent market standing. Max Zotov, Head of Domestic Sales, oversees brokerage service for Russian clients and Anton Snobkov, Head of International Sales, for international clients.

IFC Metropol is represented internationally by Metropol (UK) Limited, based in London. Metropol (UK) Limited is a company fully incorporated and capitalized in the United Kingdom and licensed to conduct investment business by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

International clients are able to transact and settle with Metropol (UK) Ltd. in all instruments connected with the Russian market. This mechanism allows international institutional clients the added comfort and security of trading via a UK regulated entity, which in turn expedites the credit and compliance aspects of establishing a new broker relationship.

Through seamless technology links between the London and Moscow operations, Metropol (UK) Ltd. is in constant contact with the local Russian markets. Trades are executed either locally or via Metropol's international network. Most recently Metropol (UK) Ltd. has become one of only three Russian investment houses to be approved as a member of the London Stock Exchange thus enabling direct access to the International Order Book (IOB).
