MCB Corporation Is the General Sponsor of Interregional Exhibition Forum Buryatia’s Subsoil 2010

MBC Corporation is the general sponsor of the interregional exhibition forum Buryatia’s Subsoil 2010, which opened on 10 November in the Vostochnye Vorota (East Gate) business center in Ulan-Ude. The forum has been organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Buryatia, Subsoil Administration of Buryatia, and Institute of Geology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Today’s events were the plenary session and round table discussions on the prospects of investment in the development of the mineral resource base: ferrous and tempering metals, nonferrous and noble metals, as well as nonmetallics. Expected events are the workshop conference New and Alternative Structural and Compositional Types of Minerals of Pribaikalye and Zabaikalye, and the specialized interregional exhibition Buryatia’s Subsoil 2010.

The following potential investors are taking part in the exhibition forum: MBC Corporation, OJSC Russian Railways, branch of OJSC Asian and Pacific Bank, Chinese-based Sinomach and NFC, LLC Novoangarsk Processing Plant, LLC Siberian Geological Company, OJSC Khiagda, LLC Orekitkan Mining Company, as well as mineral production enterprises and mining equipment and service companies. Among the forum’s participants also are the Institute of Geology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Earth’s Crust Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Tectonics and Geophysics of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
