The Moscow-Invest 2009 Twelfth International Forum will be held
on October 23-25 in Shanghai. The Moscow International
Business Association is organizing the event with support from the
Moscow City Government. METROPOL Group of companies is

China’s role as a global economic player has been growing steadily
in recent years. China has been weathering the ongoing global
financial and economic crisis by quickly adopting important
measures aimed at developing the country’s infrastructure and
stimulating its domestic demand. These moves are helping
create a strategic stock of raw materials that provide a certain
warranty against the depreciation of the US currency and securities
accrued by China.
The Forum is discussing a wide range of issues and problems: the
Global Financial and Economic Crisis – Lessons and Conclusions;
Negotiating the Consequences of Global Crisis – National and
Regional Approaches; Efficient Management of the City Economy in
Crisis Conditions; Development is Forging Ahead – the Prospects of
Moscow and Shanghai at the Horizon of 2025; and Development of New
International Centers – an Imperative of Our Time.
The Forum is also being attended by the First Deputy Mayor of
Moscow Yu. Roslyak, Moscow City Duma deputies and Government
ministers, the heads of the Moscow International Business
Association, and renowned Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs.
