An Investment Financial Company METROPOL, sponsored a musical program dedicated on Russian-Japanese Friendship “May There Always Be Sunshine”
Investment Financial Company METROPOL has sponsored a dedicated
musical program on Russian-Japanese friendship “May There Always Be
Sunshine” held in Moscow on Friday, August 27 on the stage of New
Opera Theater. The concert was organized by Bunkyo Civic Orchestra
Tokio supported by the Japanese Embassy in Russia and the Embassy
of Russian Federation in Japan.
The event was attended by Head of METROPOL Group М.V. Slipenchuk
accompanied by his Japanese partners. Guests of the event were also
representatives of Russian and Japanese state authorities,
including the previous Prime Minister of Japan Yukio Hatoyama,
businessmen from both countries, prominent public figures,
including the Rector of Moscow State University V.A. Sadovnichy and
the former Minister of Culture of Russian Federation М.Е. Shvydkoy,
international mass media, and numerous art lovers.
The concert featured some well-known Japanese performers, such
as conductor Isao Matsusita, Taiko drummer Eitetsu Hayashi, pianist
Kikuo Watanabe, and Bolshoi Theater Ballet performer Morihiro
Iwata.
