Head of METROPOL Group of Companies M.V. Slipenchuk is selected as the member of the Board of guardians of the St.-Petersburg State College of mines

The ceremonial meeting of the Academic council of the St.-Petersburg State College of mines on March, 21st 2007 was devoted to this event. The Chairman of Council of Federation Sergey Mironov, General Director of IFC METROPOL Michael Slipenchuk, General Director of MBC Resources Oleg Mihajlenko, Deputy of the General Director of MBC Corporation Bair Tsirenov, rector the St.-Petersburg State College of mines Vladimir Litvinenko and other officials took part in the ceremony.

METROPOL Group of Companies and, in particular, company MBC Resources and MBC Corporation cooperate with the St.-Petersburg State College of mines from the beginning of 2006, accepting active participation in realization of programs of the professional training for republic Buryatiya, in development of programs of the international cooperation, etc.
Within the limits of solemn actions a specialized nominal audience of METROPOL Group of Companies was opened. The audience is equipped with the modern multimedia equipment, allowing to take scientific discussions, round tables, educational employment. Earlier the audiences in the College of mines were opened by Gazprom, Lukoil, Total, De Beers, Norilsk nickel, Alrosa and a number of other large Russian and foreign companies.

Michael Slipenchuk also met with the students from Republic Buryatiya, bursars of MBC Corporation, studying now in the College of mines.
