MBC Resources became the “Company of the year” subsequent to the results of the Third international mining-and-geological business forum MINEX 2007.

MBC Resources Company being a part of the Group “МЕТROPOL” won a prize in the category “Company of the year” of the Third international mining-and-geological forum MINEX 2007.
The prize was awarded for successes in implementation of mining projects in the territory of Russian Federation. The awarding ceremony took place in the course of a gala-supper which marked closing of the forum. David Pirs, a chairman of the nomination committee of the forum MINEX 2007, general director of the SRK Consulting (Russia) handed a memorable figurine and honorary diploma to Serdar Karliev, Chief financial officer of the MBC Resources.
Other winners of the MINEX 2007 award are: in the category “Mining Financier of the Year” - JPMorgan, in the category “Investor of the year” - Kinross, in the category “Russian mining-and-geological Higher Education Institution of the Year” - St.-Petersburg State Institute of Mining, in the category “Mining-and-geological information resource of the Year” - Geoinformmark.
