February, 27, 2007 METROPOL Group of companies opened its representation office in Pekin, China. Metropol (China), officially registered in the Chinese National Republic, will realize the plans of the Group in this country

First of all Metropol China will cooperate with the large Chinese mining and metallurgical companies in the field of joint realization of mineral and raw projects of the Group in the Siberian region. Also the company will promote of the newest Russian technologies on the Chinese market, and also maintain the participation of METROPOL Group in the international organizations business represented in China. It also concerns the Business Committee of The Shanghai Organization for cooperation that Metropol Group affiliated in 2006.
