MBC Corporation Deputy Director General S. N. Garichev took part in a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, V. V. Putin, at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology
The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, V. V. Putin,
visited the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology on March 3,
2009, chairing a meeting dedicated to the establishment of a pool
of technical skill professionals. The meeting also discussed
the creation of a network of national research universities.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education and Science,
A. A. Fursenko, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology Rector
N. N. Kudryavtsev, Russian Academy of Sciences member E. P.
Velikhov, Evraz Group Board Chairman A. G. Abramov, IBC General
Director S. S. Matsotsky, and other heads of the Moscow Institute
of Physics and Technology’s backbone enterprises.
The meeting was also attended by MBC Corporation Deputy General
Director S. N. Garichev. In his address, Sergei Garichev
covered the problems associated with the preparation and future
employment of a workforce for various sectors of Russian industry,
submitting specific proposals on ways to overcome these
problems.
